“我愿出一袋黄金，只求看一眼希瓦。”在这个中亚古老谚语中，乌兹别克斯坦西南部的希瓦古城的魅力尽显无遗。作为乌兹别克斯坦第一处世界文化遗产，城里保存着数十处重点保护历史文化遗迹。
2014年，乌兹别克斯坦和中国决定合作开展希瓦古城保护修复工作，对古城内的阿米尔·图拉经学院和哈桑·穆拉德库什别吉清真寺及周围环境展开重点修复和整治。中国专家秉持国际文化遗产保护原则和理念，尽最大可能在修复中保留文物原貌，并尽量使用当地传统工艺和材料。2019年，这一项目顺利竣工。
时光如水，希瓦古城的历史风貌重新焕发生机，传承着绵亘千年的中乌丝路文明交流佳话。
